Welcome to the "WINTER 2005 (MIDGE - Chironomides) MEGA-SWAP"
Amateur or expert, you are all welcome to join the Mega Winter Swap 2005
This swap is real simple. You have till January 15th 2005 to register yourself and announce the fly you intend to tie. At this date I will announce the number of participants. You then have to tie the same ammount of flies that there are participants. We just completed a swap with 39 participants and this one looks like we will reach 50. You must be dedicated for such a Mega-Swap.
You must complete and send me your flies by February 20th. 2005 with a description of the fly, the hook used and the dressing of the fly. Each participants must assume the return cost of the flies. All you have to do is include with your package of flies a self addressed, pre-paid envelope. Your flies have to be in separate small plastic zip-lock bags with the name of the fly and your name on each bags. I will then take one of each participant's fly and make small packages and return the flies to you.
You must tie a midge. She can be a larvae, pupae or an imago, no matter as long as it is a midge. You can also present one of your creation, but it must be a midge.
You fly will be shown on line at "Le Moucheux"
