My first trip to the "Charmed Circle" was in 1987. After many years of reading about it, I finaly went after nearly 20 years. Was well worth the trip of 6 hours. Famous for being the birth place of fly fishing in North America, it was a pleasure to fish these rivers.
I am standing in the foreground close to the bridge of the Catskill Fly Fishing Center, trying to figure out which fly Mr. Trout would find appetizing.

Mon premier voyage au "Charmed Circle" comme on l'appele au Etats, était en 1987. Ayant attendus plus 20 ans avant de pouvoir m'y rendre, j'ai pu enfin réalisé un de mes rêves. Environ 6 heures de Montreal, la place est enchanteresse, étant le lieux où Gordon, Hewitt, Cahill donnèrent naissance à l'art de la pêche à la mouche sur le continent Nord Américain. Je suis à l'avant plan, près du pont qui donne accès au Catskill Fly Fishing Center sur la rivière Willowemoc.
